Honour

Don't go down,
Without a sound,
Try your best,
Till your last,

Hiding in the shadow,
Stabbing in the back,
Trying to conquer,
By the dishonourable path,

What value does then remain?
For the surviving culprit,
Though he acts carefree,
His guilt guides him to his defeat,

The honourable may die early,
There are backstabbers aplenty,
The honourable dies content,
Dishonour begets discontent.
