Flame

A spark ignites,
Flame roars to life,
Dancing freely to the air,
Spreading warmth everywhere,
Alone it stands at its place,
Shining bright without a face,
Unconcerned by the futile human race,
Their pace is just another waste,

Its foolish to stop this madness,
From around the flame withdraws darkness,
By burning itself the flame dies,
Through this sacrifice, darkness survives,

The flame lasts not for long,
Its  voice extinguished and gone,
But soon there shall be another song,
A new spark shall be born.
