Mosquitoes

The night is cool,
Its raining outside,
But I am inside,
Sweating in my room,

Cannot go outside,
Too many mosquitoes,
Cannot sleep inside,
Too hot to handle,

The power has gone,
Darkness all around,
Moon hides behind clouds,
Making me feel alone,

This rain doesn't seem to stop,
Until then the power will not return,
Still sweating sitting inside,
The weathers cool outside,

This continuous sweating,
Has made me thirsty,
In the darkness I keep bumping,
On my way to the kitchen,

The rain is finally receding,
Power may return, I keep hoping,
Until then I shall keep sweating,
In this dark night, floating.
