Bird

I am a bird,
Flying without direction,
Floating high up in the sky,
free from earth's prison,
Flying through clouds,
Bitter cold experience,
Lonely like the wind,
No home to rest,

Everything down below,
Appears small and trivial,
This is human behavior,
Demean one another,

With success comes ego,
Ego nurtures overconfidence,
Overconfidence leads to errors,
Errors stokes hatred,

The bird is finally tired,
Returns back to the prison,
Come tomorrow it will fly again,
It is a never ending cycle.
